Strange Paradise is a petite 240sqft gallery and project space under the proprietorship of Small Talk Collective. Aptly named due to the uniqueness of this space, Strange Paradise lives within Oregon Contemporary and is shared with the photography non-profit, Photolucida.

In June 2023 we made the tough but right-for-us decision to let go of our space in Oregon Contemporary. We're returning to our image-making roots and focusing on making and sharing our individual and collective photographic work. We're very excited about this next chapter! We'll still host pop-up events and continue to support the vibrant Portland photo community. Running the gallery is a special part of our 8 year history that will always be close to our hearts, and we're so grateful to everyone for showing up and supporting us and the dozens of exhibiting artists we've had the pleasure of working with.
